Samsung Galaxy A9 could ultimately be called a phablet because of 6-inches screen if one believes Indian import documents. A size that is not a problem in Asia continent, fond of phablets.
Previewed on GFX Bench in October, Samsung Galaxy A9 was disclosed as a more powerful version of the Samsung Galaxy A8, the smartphone that may eventually appeal to different kind of users. Indeed, according to documents received from Zauba Indian importer, Galaxy A9 could ultimately get a 6-inches screen while it was initially announced as 5.5 inches. A difference that seems minimal, but clearly changes the positioning of the product in the market since it will address the fans of very large screens.
If this information is true then Samsung Galaxy A9 will enter a very exclusive club, in which we find the Google Nexus 6, HTC One Max, LG G Flex, Huawei Ascend Mate 7 and Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, smartphones varying between 5.9 and 6 inches of screen size.
For the rest of detail, there are no new developments to report. If we therefore relies on the first rumors about Samsung Galaxy A9, we will have a Full HD display which is assumed to be Super AMOLED, a Snapdragon 620 (MSM8976) SoC supported by an Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory. But we still do not know whether this smartphone will be released in other markets other than Asia.
